Joey Kinney

Joey comes from an accounting family and started learning debits and credits at age 16 when his parents taught him how to use QuickBooks. Since then, Joey has worked in a variety of roles in the accounting and finance industry, from his first position as a entry level staff accountant to the top accounting professional for a real estate and construction conglomerate. Joey enjoys helping business owners navigate the ever-changing business landscape and loves being a trusted advisor who can help his clients achieve their personal and professional goals.

Joey graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kansas State University. During his time in Manhattan, KS (The Little Apple!), Joey was highly involved in the College of Business, serving as the President of the College's Student Advisory Board during his Junior year. He is very proud of graduating with a 4.0 GPA and also earned a minor degree in Economics to go with his primary double major of Accounting and Finance. Joey is working towards his CMA designation. He is also a Registered Investment Advisor.

Joey met his wife Traci while working at an accounting firm in Plano, TX. They currently live in Joey's hometown of Albuquerque, NM with their 3 cats. Joey and Traci enjoy spending their time fly fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, cycling, running, and generally enjoying the 280 days per year of New Mexican sunshine. They also enjoy being the fun-aunt and fun-uncle to their nephews back in Texas.
