Cagney Ferbet

I started at Anders right after college as an audit associate. I was with the firm for about a year when my husband decided to go to medical school in Iowa. We lived in Des Moines for four years where I worked my way up to a senior auditor. We moved back to St. Louis in May 2021, and I rejoined Anders in the Outsourced Accounting team (which later merged with the Summit Virtual CFO team) as a senior accountant and have since moved up to a supervisor. I enjoyed my time in audit, but the VCFO side has been really fun to drill down into the details and help clients make an impact on their businesses. Something that empowers me in my work is training and helping new staff.

I graduated from Missouri Western State University with a bachelor of science in business administration with a major in accounting and management in December 2015.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Alek. Together we have three kids, Finnick will be 3 in January and we welcomed boy/girl twins in May 2022, Graham and Rollins. We also have two dogs, Riley and Maverick. We love playing outside and going to parks. On the weekends we usually can be found doing something with friends and family!
