Brought on as a Senior Accountant at Summit CPA, Eric has a varied background in both public accounting and private industry, working with clients and employers ranging in revenues from $1M to over $1B. Prior to joining Summit, Eric worked with companies of all sizes, from mom and pops shops to global companies, in a variety of roles ranging from Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Project Controller and Manufacturing Controller. In addition to accounting and finance, Eric finds personal finance interesting and understands how a small business owner's business financials are intertwined with their personal financials. He loves to discuss life stage planning from accumulation, preservation, distribution and tax and estate planning.
Upon graduating from Penn State, Eric worked towards earning his Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation, passing both parts on his first attempt, earning the designation in Dec. 2015. Shortly afterwards, Eric began studying for his CPA license, passing both parts on first attempt and earning the coveted license in April 2018. Eric has also successfully passed the life insurance exam in the state of PA, as wells as, passing the Series, 6, 63 and 65 investment licensing exams.
