David Bernhardt

Before starting at Summit Virtual CFO by Anders, David previously worked in a small public accounting firm as well as the home office of a super-regional insurance company where he specialized in Microsoft Excel, Access, and data mining. He has experience in property and casualty insurance, non-profit management/reporting, and database management. His strengths lie in his ability to effectively interact with professionals, identify and resolve complex accounting and information systems issues, and develop innovative solutions for achieving a wide range of business development strategies and financial management objectives.

David has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from Columbia College, is a licensed CPA in the State of Missouri, and has attained Enrolled Agent status with the Internal Revenue Service.

David, his wife Jessica, and his four children Isabella, Benjamin, Juliette, and Nickolas live in Columbia, Missouri with their two dogs Mia and Baxter. David spends his free time with his family, being outdoors, hunting, playing with his dogs, and volunteering for a non-profit organization very near to his heart. David serves as the Executive Director for the Central Missouri Diabetic Children’s Camp (Camp Hickory Hill).
